Voodoo Robotics Releases Free, Open-Source Integration Code for Extensiv 3PL Warehouse Manager

PLANO, TX — April 7, 2026 — Voodoo Robotics, a leading innovator in wireless warehouse automation, today announced the release of free, open-source integration code connecting Extensiv's 3PL Warehouse Manager to Voodoo Robotics pick-to-light devices. The integration is available immediately on GitHub and is released under the MIT license, giving warehouse operators and 3PLs full freedom to adapt it for their environment.

“Extensiv is a cornerstone WMS for the 3PL industry, and the operators who run on it deserve fast, reliable pick-to-light without a lengthy integration project,” said Trevor Blumenau, CEO of Voodoo Robotics. “This repository gives their teams a working, over-commented starting point they can deploy or modify in hours, not weeks.”

Built for Operations That Can’t Afford a Long Integration Project

Most warehouses and 3PLs already know what they want to accomplish. The obstacle is almost never the vision — it’s the IT capacity to get there. Integration projects stall in backlogs, stretch across months of testing cycles, and frequently outlast the business urgency that spawned them in the first place.

Voodoo designed this release specifically to compress that timeline. The integration code ships in a working, heavily annotated state. A developer who understands Python can read it in an afternoon, configure it for their environment, and have Voodoo devices responding to live Extensiv order events the same day. There is no black-box middleware to license, no vendor support ticket queue to navigate, and no multi-week debugging cycle to endure.

    Own Your Integration Layer

Proprietary integrations create a different kind of risk: dependency. When business rules change — a new event type, a modified workflow, a shift in how pick jobs are assigned — companies that rely on a vendor-managed connector have to wait for that vendor to prioritize their request. That wait has a cost.

Because this code is open-source and lives in the customer’s own environment, the operations team owns the integration completely. Changes can be made in-house, tested against a real payload, and deployed without involving any outside party. That independence is the point.

    Free and Open-Source on GitHub

The integration code is intentionally over-commented and ships with a real-world example payload captured from a live Extensiv sandbox — giving any developer a clear picture of how data flows from an Extensiv order event to a lit Voodoo device, without needing a live connection to test against.

A Growing Library of Open-Source Integration Code

The Extensiv repository is the latest addition to Voodoo Robotics’ growing collection of open-source integration references. Each project follows the same philosophy: working, well-documented code that a warehouse IT team can fork, configure, and deploy without starting from scratch. The full collection currently covers:

    • Extensiv 3PL Warehouse Manager — Python webhook server (this release). View on GitHub
    • ShipStation — Free Chrome browser extension that brings pick-to-light directly into ShipStation’s packing workflow with no WMS integration required. Available on the Chrome Web Store and GitHub.
    • Odoo — Free addon that connects Voodoo Cloud Display Devices directly to Odoo’s Transfers workflow. View on GitHub
    • SAP — Integration reference for SAP-driven picking workflows. View on GitHub
    • Epicor — Integration reference for Epicor ERP environments. View on GitHub

All repositories are released under permissive open-source licenses. Voodoo Robotics will continue adding integration references as new platforms are validated.
